State Police have identified the people killed in a crash at Route 111 in Islip, NY on February 27th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 3:35 a.m. According to investigators, a Honda Accord headed southbound on Route 111 reportedly veered into a northbound lane and collided with a northbound oil truck at Ironwood St. The driver of the Honda, 27-year-old Erick Olivares and a passenger, 27-year-old Kevin Santamaria, suffered fatal injuries in the crash.
