What Happened

State Police have identified the person killed in a crash at Clearview Expressway in Brooklyn, NY on July 13th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 3 a.m. A passenger vehicle operated by 33-year-old Evelissa Santos Paulino was reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed when it lost control and veered into a parked, unoccupied tractor-trailer in a shoulder. The vehicle caught fire and Paulino suffered fatal injuries at the scene.
