What Happened

Police have inforamtion on a cash that injured three people at New York State Thruway in Phelps, NY on September 25th, 2024.  Police say the incident happened around 4:35 a.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer headed eastbound is said to have struck a guardrail for unclear reasons, overturning into the roadway. Following this, two approaching tractor-trailers collided with debris and the overturned truck. Reports say all three drivers, identified as 38-year-old Richard J. Puryear, 52-year-old overturned truck operator, Gurvir Singh, and 70-year-old Donnie K. Miller, were hospitalized with minor injuries. Additional information was not available.
