New York State Police are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Odell Rd in Jefferson County, NY on July 18th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 11 a.m. According to investigators, a tanker truck operated by 70-year-old James Frizzell veers from the road for unclear reasons, traveling down a nearby embankment. The truck is said have struck both a tree and utility pole before coming to rest. Officials say Frizzell required emergency services in order to escape the truck and, once free, was taken to an area hospital for treatment of suspected non-life-threatening injuries.
