What Happened

State Police are investigating a crash that killed two men at State Route 104 in Sodus, NY on June 6th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 10 a.m. According to investigators, a pickup truck headed northbound on Ridge Road is alleged to have missed a red light before colliding with a tractor-trailer. The occupants of the pickup truck, identified as 59-year-old John M. Crane and 37-year-old John L. Crane, suffered fatal injuries in the crash. The driver of the tractor-trailer, identified as 58-year-old John F. Mikac, was hospitalized with suspected non-life-threatening injuries. Police did not have any additional information to share.
