What Happened

New York State Police are investigating a crash that injured at least two people at State Route 81 in Coxsackie, NY on September 11th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 7:45 a.m. Investigators say a box truck collided with the rear driver's side of a dump trailer towed by a pickup truck. Reports indicate the impact caused the truck to travel forward, trapping an individual performing maintaince under the truck. That individual, identified as 37-year-old Darin Rivenburg, was hospitalized with suspected serious injuries. Also hospitalized were Bernesser and a 17-year-old passenger. Authorities did not have any additional information available.
