State Police are investigating a collision at State Route 209 in Ulster County, NY on March 12th, 2025. Police say the incident happened around 9:50 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer headed southbound is alleged to struck a pedestrian before allegedly fleeing the scene. Officials say the pedestrian, only identified as a 20-year-old Ellenville man, was hospitalized with serious injuries. The driver of the truck was later located and arrested in connection with the collision, police say. Additional information was not available.
