Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a pedestrian at Coney Island Ave and Caton Ave in Brooklyn, NY on November 9th, 2022. Official say the incident happened around 9:15 p.m. as an unnamed pedestrian was crossing the road. Investigators are saying FedEx truck struck the pedestrian under unclear circumstances before completing a right-hand turn and leaving the scene. Directly after, the pedestrian was struck by Kia passenger vehicle as well and the pedestrian involved suffered fatal injuries. The Kia driver remained at the scene for authorities.
