What Happened

New York Police are investigating a crash that injured a woman at Skillman Ave in Brooklyn, NY on November 2nd, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 11:15 a.m. 24-year-old Molly Pearson was riding a Lime scooter eastbound on Skillman before she was struck by a box truck making a turn from Meeker Ave. Pearson was taken to an area hospital in critical condition and died from her injuries on November 6th. The truck driver remained at the scene for police. Additional information was not immediately available.
