State Police are investigating a bus crash that left several people injured at East 23rd St and First Ave in Manhattan, NY on July 6th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 7:15 p.m. According to investigators, a double-decker tour bus was involved in a collision with an MTA bus. Police allege the tour bus may have run a red light before colliding with the other bus, leaving as many as 50 people injured. Officials say 27 of the individuals involved were hospitalized for treatment and added none of the injuries sustained were considered to be life-threatening.
