Authorities are investigating a crash that killed two people at New York State Thruway in Albany, NY on May 23rd, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 8 a.m. Authorities say a tractor-trailer headed northbound collided with a concrete separation barrier for unclear reasons before overturning onto a northbound vehicle. Authorities say the driver of the northbound vehicle, identified as 64-year-old Paul Kelley, was fatally injured. Also fatally injured was a 50-year-old passenger in the tractor-trailer, identified as Sabrina D. Bermudez. The tractor-trailer operater and a passenger in the northbound vehicle were hospitalized with serious injuries. Additional information was not available.
