State Police are investigating a multi-vehicle crash that left one person dead at I-86 in Ellicott, NY on January 28th, 2023. Officials say the incident happened around 6 p.m. According to investigators, a Toyota Camry headed eastbound collided with a westbound Dodge Ram. Shortly after, the Dodge was rear-ended by an approaching tractor-trailer. The driver of the vehicle officers allege was traveling in an incorrect direction, Mathew Berry, was killed. One of the two occupants of the Dodge, 57-year-old Todd Town, also died. The other occupant, 540year-old Sandra Town was hospitalized with serious injuries. Additional details were not available.
