Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at Bellmore Ave in Nassau County, NY on August 13th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 10:05 p.m. A tractor-trailer operated by 38-year-old David Gonzalez collided with the rear of a vehicle stopped in a left turn lane. The impact caused the vehicle to crash into the rear of the vehicle ahead. The drivers of the vehicle were both hospitalized with neck and facial injuries. Gonzalez was charged with two counts of assault, reckless endangerment and reckless driving.
