What Happened

State Police are investigating a crash that injured a driver at US 13 near in Fayetteville, NC on January 31st, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 4 p.m. Investigators are saying an eastbound tanker truck operated by 46-year-old Jack Dejohn Jr was on the I-95 on ramp before attempting a u-turn from the right turn lane. Police say the truck turned into the path of an eastbound Freightliner in a left lane operated by 28-year-old Ryan Miller. Both vehicles collided and overturned, causing serious injuries to Dejohn. Miller was reportedly uninjured. Additional information was not immediately available.
