Area authorities have arrested a driver in connection with a crash that killed a driver at Peters Creek Parkway in Winston-Salem, NC on February 28th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 2:13 p.m. According to sources, a tractor-trailer headed westbound on Silas Creek Parkway allegedly ran a red light before colliding with a southbound motorcycle. The motorcyclist, identified as 37-year-old James Daniel Williams, was taken tan area hospital with injuries that became fatal shortly after arrival. Sources say the driver of the tractor-trailer, identified as 22-year-old Mustafa Manena, was charged with Failure to Stop at a Steady Red Light and Death by Motor Vehicle.
