Wilmington Police are investigating a pedestrian accident that killed a man at Carolina Beach Rd in Wilmington, NC on May 26th, 2022. Officials believe it happened sometime around 7:18 a.m. They say that 36-year-old James Jenkins was possibly sleeping or lying in a blanket that was partially in the roadway when he was struck by an 18-wheeler.
