State Police are investigating a crash that killed a man at US 52 and Perch Rd in Stokes County, NC on August 25th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 1:30 a.m. According to investigators, a Jeep headed northbound is said to have veered from the road for unknown reasons and overturned. The driver, an unnamed 50-year-old male, was ejected from the vehicle in the crash. He was reportedly outside the vehicle at a tractor-trailer approached the Jeep, causing the Jeep to hit the man before the truck hit a guardrail and overturned. The driver of the Jeep suffered fatal injuries at the scene. Additional information was not immediately available.
