North Carolina Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at I-77 in Cornelius, NC on March 25th, 2023. Police say the incident happened following a Dodge Charger losing control and crashing into a guardrail. After the driver exited the vehicle, they were struck by a tractor-trailer, which pinned the driver. The driver was later taken to an area hospital with serious injuries.
