State Police are investigating a crash that killed a person at US Hwy 281 in Jamestown, ND on September 20th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 9:45 a.m. According to investigators, a trailer truck was slowing to turn left when a UPS truck traveling behind veered into a west ditch to avoid the truck It then collided with the rear of the truck as it completed its turn before also going into a west died. The UPS truck operator was extricated from the vehicle an hospitalized with injuries he later died from. The other driver involved was not injured. Additional information was not available.
