What Happened

North Dakota Highway Patrol officials identified the person killed in a pedestrian collision at Hwy 83 near Wilton, ND on July 3rd, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 1:52 a.m. 35-year-old Sandra Finley was walking along a left southbound lane from Wilton to Bismarck. A tractor-trailer operated by 47-year-old Neil Janz was allegedly unable to avoid a collision and collided with Finley. Finley was taken to an area hospital where she later died.
