What Happened

Ohio State Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at US Route 42 in Wayne Twp, OH on November 22nd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 3 p.m. According to investigators, a semi-truck and farming tractor were headed southbound on US 42 when the semi-truck collided with the rear of the farm tractor before veering from the road into a ditch. The driver of the farm tractor, 63-year-old Etsey Pringle, was ejected from the vehicle and suffered fatal injuries as a result. The semi-truck driver, 68-year-old Edward Williams, was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
