What Happened

State Police are investigating a collision that injured a driver at I-70 in St Clairsville, OH on May 16th, 2022. Police say the incident happened shortly before 1:30 a.m. According to investigators, a semi-truck operated by 32-year-old Jenna Mahovlich was traveling eastbound on I-70 when it collided with the rear of a tanker truck operated by 36-year-old Sean Macdead, which was slowing at the time of the collision. The impact pushed the tanker into a guardrail. Mahovolich was hospitalized with minor injuries and cited for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead.
