Toledo Police have information on a crash that killed two people at I-289 in Toledo, OH on February 7th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 7:24 a.m. According to officials, a passenger sedan headed southbound on I-280 is said to have collided with a semi-truck stopped on the right-hand side of the southbound lanes near Front St. A possible cause for the collision was not stated. Authorities say the 19-year-old driver of the sedan, identified as Joslyn Jones, as well as 30-year-old passenger, Jessee Petit, were both killed in the crash.
