What Happened

Putnam County Sheriff's Office authorities are investigating a collision that killed a person at Route 614 in Putnam County, OH on August 5th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 2:57 p.m. A motorcycle occupied by 61-year-old Jill Wolfe collided with a tractor-trailer that pulled into the path of the motorcycle. Wolfe was taken to an area hospital with injuries she died form later that evening. The driver of the truck, 29-year-old Jaswinder Singh was cited for Failure to Yield. Police say that more serious charges are pending completion of the investigation.
