Lake County Sheriff's Office authorities in conjunction with OSHA are investigating a collision that killed a man at Lake County Solid Waste Facility in Painseville, OH on February 1st, 2024. Police say the incident involved a dump truck performing a reversal action. Reports say a 56-year-old man, who was not publicly identified, was allegedly standing outside the truck while preparing to gather a container nearby. Reports continue that wind prompted the man to move to the opposite side of the vehicle where he was struck by a second truck that was reversing at the time.
