Ohio State Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed a man at Route 229 in Morrow County, OH on June 14th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 11:50 a.m. According to investigators, a semi-truck performing a turn onto westbound Route 229 is alleged to have failed to yield while making the turn. The truck is said to have traveled past a posted stop sign before traveling into the path of a westbound Ford Focus. The vehicles collided, leaving the driver of the Ford with fatal injuries at the scene. The driver was identified as 44-year-old Nathan Perrill. Police say the occupants of the semi-truck were uninjured. Additional information was not available.
