What Happened

Ohio State Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed a man at I-71 in Chester Twp on January 7th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 3:43 a.m. A passenger vehicle reportedly entered into a truck parking zone and collided with a parked tractor-trailer. It then went north and struck the rear of a second parked truck. The driver of the car, a Honda Civic, died in the crash. He was identified as 24-year-old Nathaniel Bowman. No other injuries were reported. Additional information was not immediately available.
