What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a person at US 6 at Bowling Green Rd in Wood County, OH on July 19th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 1:33 p.m. A Ford 1-50 reportedly failed to stop at an intersection and was struck by a Freightliner truck. The driver of the F-150 was pronounced dead at the scene. The front seat passenger of a Ford F-150 was hospitalized with serious injuries. The tractor-trailer was not injured.
