What Happened

Authorities have information on a crash that killed three people at OH 18 in Scipio Twp, OH on July 11th, 2024. Police say the incident happened as a Ram Promaster allegedly failed to come to stop at a posted stop sign. Reports allege the vehicle collided with a Ford F-250, followed by both vehicles being struck by an approaching tractor-trailer. The crash caused the vehicles to overturn, the tractor-trailer striking a utility pole and the Ford catching fire. Officials say the driver of the Ford, identified as 67-year-old Richard Miller and 41-year-old passenger, Joseph Miller, were fatally injured. Also killed was a 13-year-old passenger in the vehicle. Officials say the drivers of both other vehicles were hospitalized with serious injuries. Additional information was not available.
