Ohio State Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that injured two drivers at State Route 219 in Mercer County, OH on March 16th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 1:30 p.m. A FedEx truck operated by 33-year-old Ryan Plough was reportedly headed eastbound on Route 219 when it came to a stop sign. Police say the truck failed to yield after pulling away from the stop sign and collided with a semi-truck operated by 66-year-old Mark Knapke. Both drivers reportedly suffered serious injuries and both were hospitalized for treatment. Additional information was not immediately available.
