What Happened

Oklahoma Highway Patrol officials are investigating a collision that killed two people at I-40 in Shawnee, OK on April 11th, 2025. Police say the incident happened on or around 5:45 p.m. Reprots say multiple vehicles, including a tractor-trailer and Kia Forte were involved in a collision that occurred under unclear circumstances. Officials say two occupants of the Kia, identified as 22-year-old Aiden Martin and 21-year-old Emmaleigh Arnold, were fatally injured. Three others, including the driver of the Kia, had undisclosed injuries. Authorities did not have additional information available.
