What Happened

Oklahoma Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed two people at I-40 in Muldrow, OK on May 29th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 3:30 p.m. and involved four vehicles. An eastbound box truck is said to have crossed a center median into oncoming westbound traffic and struck three other vehicles. Two people involved, a 9-year-old old boy and 56-year-old Kymbirlee Mogelberg, suffered fatal injuries. 32-year-old Ruben Gueraa-Quezade was taken to an area hospital for treatment and later released. 65-year-old Just Sexton was hospitalized in critical condition.  61-year-old James Bernard was hospitalized with head and leg injuries.
