What Happened

Oklahoma Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed two people at US 287 in Cimmaron County, OK on August 24th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 7:03 a.m. According to investigators, a U-Haul truck operated by an unnamed male is said to have crossed a center line before colliding with a northbound tractor-trailer operated by 47-year-old Gabriel Presidado. The vehicles both caught fire and the man and an unnamed female died at the scene. Presidado was hospitalized with serious injuries.
