El Reno Police Department officials are investigating a crash that killed one person at Route 66 and Radio Rd in El Reno, OK on May 10th, 2023. Police believe the crash happened around 12:40 p.m. According to investigators, a passenger sedan was traveling northbound on Radio Rd before allegedly running a stop sign at the intersection with Route 66. The car ended up colliding with a semi-truck headed eastbound on Route 66 at the time. The driver of the sedan was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
