What Happened

State Police are investigating a crash that killed one person and injured three others at I-35 in Marietta, OK on February 3rd, 2023. Police say the incident happened as a semi-truck headed northbound slowed for traffic. The vehicle was then struck by a motor home occupied by Roger Hilburn and Julie Hilburn. Authorities say both occupants were trapped in their vehicle for at least two hours before they were able to be freed. They were taken to an area hospital with injuries that Rober later died from. Julie is said to be in stable condition. The occupants of the semi-truck, 22-year-old Jamaar Carter Jr and 19-year-old Jalen Harvey, were both hospitalized in stable condition.
