What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed three people at State Hwy 51 in Okeene, OK on July 8th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 10 p.m. A John Deere tractor operated by 19-year-old Jake Sinclair entered the road and a semi-truck operated by 58-year-old Gordon Henry swerved to avoid crashing into it. It then went into opposite direction traffic and ended up colliding with a Ford Taurus operated by 33-year-old Sergio Adrian Lopez Garcia. Garcia and two children, ages 6 and 11, were pronounced dead at the scene. Neither of the other drivers were injured.
