What Happened

State Police identified the man killed in a collision on State Hwy 6 near Glenwood, OR on July 31st, 2021. Police say the incident happened just after 1 p.m. A Ford F-350 headed eastbound crossed into westbound lanes for unknown reasons and collided with a GMC Sierra operated by 43-year-old Jason Pierce. Pierce and one of his passengers, under the age of 18, suffered fatal injuries. Two other passengers, one under the age of 18, were hospitalized with serious injuries.
