What Happened

State Police are investigating a crash that killed a person and injured another at NE 100th Ave and NE Glisan St in Portland, OR on June 7th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 1:30 p.m. and involved a flatbed truck operated by 41-year-old Kenlly Leyvachi colliding with an electric bike operated by an unidentified male. The bike rider suffered fatal injuries in the crash. Police say following the collision, Leyvachi fled the scene before being located shortly after and arrested on a charge of reckless driving, hit and run and manslaughter.
