State Police are investigating a crash that killed a person at I-80 in Union Twp, PA on June 29th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 3:41 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by 40-year-old Kevin Carter was attempting to exit the road due a mechanical issue when it became partially disabled in a left travel lane. A second truck operated by 53-year-old Michael S Beck Sr collided with the truck, pushing it into a motorcycle operated by 59-year-old Amy J Freeman. Freeman suffered fatal injuries in the collision. Both Carter and Beck were reportedly uninjured. Additional information was not available.
