What Happened

State Police are investigating a crash that killed a person at Pennsylvania Turnpike in Monroeville, PA on August 25th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 1:30 p.m. a commercial truck reportedly suffered a tire blowout that caused it to lose control and veered into a guardrail. From there it went down an embankment and caught fire. The driver was able to escape to safety. A passenger, 60-year-old David John Paull, was unable to escape and suffered fatal injuries.
