Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a tow truck driver at  I-80 in Loganton, PA on November 7th, 2021. Police say the incident happened just before 9:30 p.m. An eastbound vehicle reportedly veered from the road into a tow truck, pushing the truck into the tow truck operator that was outside the vehicle assisting with loading a disabled semi-truck. After impact, the eastbound vehicle caught fire and the driver had to be extricated from the vehicle and was hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. The tow truck driver suffered fatal injuries at the scene. Additional information was not available.
