What Happened

State Police are have identified the person killed in a crash at I-80 near Milesburg, PA on July 13th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 6:32 p.m. Investigators say a semi-truck operated by 41-year-old Ilkhom Khusainov was stopped partially in a shoulder and partially in a right lane of travel. Officials say Khusainov was outside the vehicle as a second truck, operated by 34-year-old Volodymyr Shalay, approached. The second truck is said to have collided with the rear of the second truck, which struck Khusainov. The collision left Khusainov with fatal injuries at the scene. The condition of Shalay was not stated.
