What Happened

State Police are investigating a crash that killed a woman at Mosside Blvd in Monroeville, PA on August 30th, 2024. Police are saying the incident happened as a Hyundai Elantra headed northbound on Mosside Blvd was slowing to turn. Reports say the vehicle was struck by both a tractor trailer and Dodge Caravan, trapping the Hyundai operator in the vehicle. The operator, identified as 69-year-old Mary Harris, was taken to an area hospital with  injuries she later died from. A passenger in the vehicle as well as two occupants in the Dodge were hospitalized with undisclosed injuries, The tractor-trailer operator was allegedly uninjured.
