What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a woman at Route 15 in Adams County, PA on December 22nd, 2023. Investigators believe a vehicle operated by 35-year-old Sara Gifford was northbound on Route 15 as a tractor-trailer ahead was turning left from Bonner Hill Road. Police say the vehicle collided with the rear of the truck under unclear circumstances.  The crash is said to have left Gifford with fatal injuries.
