What Happened

State Police are investigating a crash that killed three people at I-80 near Milesburg, PA on June 20th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around midnight. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer collided under unclear circumstances. The impact is believed to have caused the truck to veer from the road into an embankment. The car was pushed into a shoulder before it was struck by a second tractor-trailer. Two occupants of the car were ejected from the vehicle, suffering fatal injuries.
