What Happened

County Police are investigating a crash that led to the death of two men at I-81 in Schuylkill County, PA on December 8th, 2021. They say it happened initially began around 1:30 when a truck overturned onto I-81 southbound lanes, its cargo blocking travel lanes. This created a large traffic backup and, around 8 p.m. a southbound truck collided with the rear of a second truck. Two men in one of the trucks suffered fatal injuries at the scene.
