What Happened

Area authorities have identified the person killed in a crash at Quaker Lane in Warwick, RI on July 14th, 2022. They say the incident happened around 1:10 a.m. and involved a motorcycle and tractor-trailer. According to authorities, the motorcycle, operated by 53-year-old Christopher Reddick, was headed southbound as a tractor-trailer completed a wide right turn from a parking lot. The motorcycle reportedly braked before colliding with the rear of the truck, ejecting Reddick from the vehicle. He was taken to an area hospital with injuries he later died from. Authorities believe neither speed nor alcohol were factors in the crash and continue to investigate.
