State Patrol officials have information on a crash that killed a driver at Asim Balcinovic on January 14th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 6:20 a.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer headed eastbound on I-20 is said to have veered from the road enough to strike a disabled and unoccupied sedan parked near the roadway. Following the initial collision, the truck crashed into multiple trees. The truck driver, identified 53-year-old Asim Balcinovic, suffered fatal injuries in the crash.
