What Happened

South Carolina Highway Patrol officials have identified the two people killed in a crash at  I-20 in Aiken County, SC on December 3rd, 2021. They say it happened around 5:30 a.m. An 18-wheeler headed eastbound on I-20 is said to have veered from the road for unknown reasons before crashing into multiple trees. The driver, 41-year-old Brian McGee and a passenger, 41-year-0ld Brandin Greear, died at the scene. Additional information was not immediately available.
