South Carolina Highway Patrol officials have identified the person killed in a collision at Lawton Rd in Greenville, SC on March 19th, 2022. They say it happened around 3:26 p.m. According investigators, a Ford F-250 towing a disabled dump truck was parked when 54-year-old Daniel Darrel Howes exited the truck. Police say the chain used to tow the truck broke as the truck was turning into a driveway and the truck rolled downhill, striking Howes. Howes suffered serious injuries and was taken to an are hospital where he died a short time later. Additional details were not provided.
